Coming from the UK: our advice 🇬🇧
Beauval is in the Loire Valley, about 3 hours 45 minutes' drive from the Caen ferry port and about 5 hours 45 minutes from Calais. A day trip from the UK is not realistic: plan at least one night, ideally two.
- The simplest option: a Beauval package. One booking, one payment in euros, and your ZooParc tickets are included.
- Arriving late: Le Relais Touraine Sologne has a key box for self check-in.
- No car on site: only Les Jardins and Les Pagodes are within walking distance of the ZooParc.
- A longer holiday: combine Beauval with the Loire châteaux from a gîte or Les Hameaux.
Getting there: by car via the ferry or Eurotunnel or by train from London.

Our booking tips ✅
- Book early for school holidays and bank holiday weekends, in France and in the UK
- Compare the package with entry against booking a hotel and tickets separately, for your exact dates
- Check what the price includes: number of nights, breakfast, number of days of entry
- Read the cancellation terms if your dates are not fixed
- Plan for a car: there is no shuttle between the hotels and the ZooParc
