Step 1: Eurostar to Paris 🚄
Eurostar runs from London St Pancras International to Paris Gare du Nord in about 2 hours 20 minutes. France is one hour ahead of the UK.
From Gare du Nord, two stations serve the Loire Valley:
- Gare d'Austerlitz (trains to Blois): direct on metro line 5
- Gare Montparnasse (TGV to Saint-Pierre-des-Corps): direct on metro line 4
Option A: via Blois and the Rémi bus 🚌
Direct trains run from Paris Austerlitz to Blois in about 1 hour 30 minutes. From Blois station, a regional Rémi bus goes to the ZooParc, with times designed to connect with the Paris Austerlitz - Blois trains.
- Journey: about 1 hour, via Cellettes, Cormeray and Contres
- Price: €3.40 one way
- Period: March to November according to the ZooParc, and not every day
- Bonus: show your Rémi bus ticket at the ZooParc ticket office for €2 off your entry
Option B: via Saint-Pierre-des-Corps and Saint-Aignan 🚆
The TGV from Paris Montparnasse reaches Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (Tours) in about an hour. From there, or from Tours, regional TER trains run to Saint-Aignan - Noyers-sur-Cher in about 41 to 45 minutes, with around twelve trains a day.
- Saint-Aignan - Noyers station is 8 km from the ZooParc, with no shuttle
- The ZooParc lists local taxis on its "Access" page and advises booking your journey in advance, both ways
- A transport-on-demand service (2 to 8 people) also serves the stations of Saint-Aignan - Noyers, Tours, Saint-Pierre-des-Corps, Blois and Vierzon
Option C: BlaBlaCar Bus from Paris 🚍
According to the ZooParc, BlaBlaCar Bus coaches run from Paris Bercy and from Orléans to the ZooParc at weekends and during French school holidays. Allow about 3 hours 40 minutes from Paris and 1 hour 55 minutes from Orléans.
Running days vary: check the dates and times on the BlaBlaCar website before booking, especially in winter. More on the Paris leg: getting to Beauval from Paris.
❄️ This winter: what changes
- From 16 November 2026 to 5 February 2027, the South entrance is closed: everyone enters via the North entrance, near the Equatorial Dome. Ask your taxi to drop you at the North entrance
- The Rémi bus from Blois only runs in season: in winter, rely on the train and a taxi
- BlaBlaCar Bus runs at weekends and during school holidays: check the winter dates
Where to stay without a car 🏨
Les Jardins and Les Pagodes de Beauval are a 5 and 7-minute walk from the South entrance. Arrive by taxi, and you will not need any other transport during your stay (outside the winter closure of the South entrance).
The other Beauval hotels are 5 to 10 minutes away by car, with no shuttle. Read our reviews of Les Jardins and Les Pagodes.

Our honest view
Let's be clear: the ZooParc is designed for visitors with a car. Public transport exists, but with limited timetables, and with children everything needs planning in advance.
In season, the Rémi bus from Blois is the simplest and cheapest option. The rest of the year, go for the train then a pre-booked taxi. And to keep things simple, sleep at Les Jardins or Les Pagodes.
