What we knowBeauval's star animals
The ones everyone heads to first, and often worth a second visit.
Our visit in August 2026
We went back as a family in early August: here is what we thought of the new areas.
Our favourite
Les Terres Rouges
Red earth, eucalyptus, kangaroos right beside the path: a real change of scene, far more immersive than before. The wombats often sleep in their burrow, so come back early in the morning or late in the day.
Discover the territory
Bucolia
Far more than a petting farm: a conservatory of old French breeds. When we visited, the carousel was free for children and you could feed the animals.
The farm
Les Roches Vives
Children come out soaked, so pack a change of clothes. Open from April to the end of September.
The water play area
Le Canard Toqué
A proper lunch break in the heart of Bucolia, with regional produce and dishes from €12.50. Our tip: eat at 11am or 2pm.
Where to eatAllow 30 to 45 minutes for Les Terres Rouges alone, plus Bucolia and Les Roches Vives in season. With the rest of the park, one day soon feels short: over two days, you really make the most of it.
A day at Beauval
From the plains to the tropical greenhouses, this is what it looks like.
