🚗 Paris to Beauval by car

It is the simplest option for families, and the obvious one if you hire a car in Paris. The ZooParc gives 2 hours 15 minutes from Paris, via the A10, A71 and A85.

The route recommended by the ZooParc

  • Paris → A10 to Orléans
  • A71 towards Vierzon
  • A85 towards Tours
  • Exit 12 Saint-Aignan, then follow the "Zoo" signs

Sat nav: ZooParc de Beauval, Avenue du Blanc, 41110 Saint-Aignan. Parking is free: 8 car parks, 4,000 spaces in total.

Good to know: the A10, A71 and A85 are toll motorways. Leaving early on Saturday morning limits the risk of traffic jams on the way out of Paris. To drive inside Paris, a Crit'Air sticker is required: see our Crit'Air section.

❄️ This winter: head for the North entrance

From 16 November 2026 to 5 February 2027, the South entrance is closed (except in special cases). Entry is via the North entrance only, near the Equatorial Dome. Set it in your sat nav and park in the North car park.

🚆 Paris to Beauval by train

It is possible, but you need to finish the journey by bus or taxi. The ZooParc lists three stations:

  • Blois (direct trains from Paris Austerlitz, about 1h30), 45 minutes from the ZooParc by car, with a Rémi bus in season
  • Saint-Aignan - Noyers-sur-Cher (regional TER), 8 km from the ZooParc
  • Saint-Pierre-des-Corps (Tours, TGV from Paris Montparnasse), 55 minutes from the ZooParc via the A85

From the stations, there is no daily shuttle: plan a taxi or a transport-on-demand service. The list of taxis is on the "Access" page of zoobeauval.com.

Discount: show your French train ticket (SNCF) at the ZooParc ticket office for €2 off your entry.

🚌 By coach from Paris

According to the ZooParc, BlaBlaCar Bus coaches leave from Paris Bercy and Orléans for the ZooParc, at weekends and during French school holidays. Allow about 3 hours 40 minutes from Paris and 1 hour 55 minutes from Orléans.

Running days vary: check the dates and times on the BlaBlaCar website before booking, especially in winter.

How to organise the weekend

  • Friday evening: drive down after the rush hour, night near the ZooParc
  • Saturday: in at 9am opening time, a full day at the ZooParc
  • Sunday: a second day at the ZooParc with the two-day ticket, or a Loire château, then back to Paris

Where to stay nearby?

The 8 Beauval places to stay are all outside the ZooParc. Les Jardins and Les Pagodes de Beauval are a 5 and 7-minute walk from the South entrance. The others are 5 to 10 minutes away by car, in Saint-Aignan and Noyers-sur-Cher.

This winter, while the South entrance is closed, the ZooParc recommends driving even from Les Jardins and Les Pagodes.
